American Idol Top 4 singer La’Porsha Renae headed to McComb Mississippi on Saturday with FOX cameras in tow, for a hometown celebration.
According to MS News Now, there were thousands of people lined up just to see the singer, who visited McComb High School, Jubilee Performing Arts Center (where she watched young students perform) and a parade, with her daughter in her lap, followed by concert in the center of town.
La’Porsha got emotional watching kids perform at Jubilee, and at her concert, where she sang around seven songs, she said it was her first ever.
Clips from La’Porsha’s hometown visit will air on American Idol Thursday March 31.
