A nice surprise before Game 7 of the NBA Conference finals Monday night at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California–American Idol season 3 alum, LaToya London, sang the National Anthem.
The Oakland native is a local star who also happened to make a name for herself as a frontrunner on American Idol when she competed for the crown way back in 2004. The fourth place finisher recently made an appearance on the American Idol series finale where she was reunited with fellow season 3 “divas,” winner Fantasia Barrino and Jennifer Hudson to sing a spectacular rendition of Simon and Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
