Ew. Ew. Ew. Too much information! In her new book, Brunette Ambition, Glee star, Lea Michele, reveals that back in her pre-Glee Broadway days, she not only knew fellow Glee and Broadway star, Matthew Morrison, but they DATED:
When we shot the [Glee] pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley and Chris Colfer for the first time. I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we’d actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat.
I’m sure Matthew, who plays Glee club director, Will Schuester, is actually a very nice fellow, but I just can’t get past the creepy adolescent-obsessed character he plays on on the FOX series. It’s not rational, but the idea of those two dating squicks me out.
Making it ickier still: On a recent appearance on the Bravo show, Watch What Happens Live, she hints that she and Mr. Shue not only dated, but did the BIG NASTY.
In “Plead the Fifth,” a game that allows celebrity players to skip only one of the dishy questions asked by the host, Lea chose to plead the fifth when Andy Cohen asked “On a scale from 1 to 10, how was Matthew Morrison in the sack.”
“My dad is right here!” squealed Lea (Her dad was the episode’s “cartender’) “This is horrible! PLEAD THE FIFTH!”
Blech. Definitely an image I didn’t need.
