Did you know there were Idol auditions in Los Angeles yesterday?
Lost in the midst of the media blitz surrounding yesterday’s judges’ panel announcement was the fact that 3, 000 Idol wannabes lined up at the Los Angeles Forum yesterday to take their shot at fame and fortune.
The 3, 000 figure came from the LA Daily News, and if that figure is accurate…is low compared to turn out in other cities (Nashville had over 16K try out) The last-minute scheduling of LA, the 7th and last audition city on the schedule could have something to do with the low turnout.
Singers who would still like to audition for Idol have one last chance. The MySpace auditions are accepting video clips through October 6.
