Last week, Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth welcomed their first child, a son, on Thursday, Jan. 21 in Los Angeles. A couple of days later, the One Direction member tweeted, “I’m pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :) He is healthy and pretty amazing :) I’m very happy!!”
Now, the singer has posted a photo of his boy to Instagram, along with the reveal of a name to his 8 million followers. “Meet my little lad, Freddie ?.” Aw. The little baby emojis are a nice touch! Later, Louis tweeted appreciation to his fans, “Thank you so much for the all nice messages :)”
The world learned in July that Louis was expecting his first child with Briana, a Los Angeles based stylist. “Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother,” a mutual friend of the two told People at the time.
Currently, One Direction are on hiatus for an indeterminate period. That should leave plenty of time for Louis to get acquainted with his little fella. See the photo of father and son below:
