Seven milestones since Monday last week!
Camila Cabello had a good week with “Bam Bam” featuring Ed Sheehan reaching two milestones. It went top 15 on HAC and top 40 on Rhythmic. This is the anchoring single for her album “Familia” (52 this week on the BB200). The song is also top at on Pop and top 40 on AC (and 25th on the Hot 100).
Also from the X-Factor franchise, Harry Styles continues to make an impression on the charts with a milestone on AAA. His lead off single, “As It Was”, debuted on AAA last week and this week, it moves into the top 40. The song is also top 10 on Pop and HAC and top 15 on AC. The song is currently number one on the Hot 100 and his album “Fine Lines” is number 13 on the BB200.
Country radio features multiple milestones. Morgan Wallen leads the charge with “Wasted on You” going top 15. This song is one of the many singles from his album “Dangerous: The Double Album” which spent another week at number 2 on the BB200 chart. Sales were up 9% for 50.5K equivalent albums. His “Don’t Think Jesus” debuted on the Hot 100 at 7th this week (“Wasted on You” is 31st). Carrie Underwood’s “Ghost Story” went top 30 in the Country format while Gabby Barrett is working her way up the chart by entering the top 40 with “Pick Me Up”.
Tate McRae got her start as a dancer on “So You Think You Can Dance”, but is making inroads in music with her “she’s all I wanna be” going top 20 on HAC (it is also currently top 15 on Pop and 47th on the Hot 100).
Other songs the Hot 100 are Scotty’s “Damn Strait” (76th) and Lauren Spencer’s Smith’s “Finger’s Crossed” (35th) and new “Flowers” (55th).
