Five Mediabase Milestones this Monday Morning.
Scotty McCreery tops the Country chart with “In Between”. This is the third single from his “Seasons Change” album and the third to hit number one. When he released the debut single from this album, he was unsigned. “In Between” sees a massive 1256 spincrease over last week.
Gabby Barrett is also from Idol and was also unsigned when her first hit single was released. “I Hope” may have originally been a Country hit but now it is in the top 30 on Pop. The song is also top 30 on HAC and AC while the album “Goldmine” is in stores as of Friday.
Two more Idols get milestones on CAC. Season 8’s Danny Gokey’s “Love God Love People” enters the top 10. Meanwhile, Season 5’s Mandisa debuts “You Keep Hope Alive” on CAC in the top 40.
Finally, we see X-Factor’s Harry Style enter the top 20 on HAC with “Watermelon Sugar”.
