Monday Morning Mediabase 09/11/2017

This week, it might actually be easier to mention those that didn’t make milestones than those that did. There are 12 milestones to report this Monday.

The original recipe Idol sings softly and carries a big stick. Kelly Clarkson roars back onto the chart with “Love so Softly”. This new lead-off single debuts on three charts with its biggest impact being felt on HAC. Kelly debuts on all 3 Mainstream format, top 20 in HAC after just a few days of spins.

Sticking with the Idols, there are two that make milestones on CAC. Danny Gokey goes top 10 with “The Comeback” while Mandisa comes back onto the chart with “Bleed the Same”. Carrie Underwood bookends the Idol winners by going top 40 on HAC with “The Fighter” (duet with Keith Urban).

X-Factor’s Liam Payne also works the multiple milestones. His debut single “Strip that Down” featuring Quavo goes top 5 on Pop and top 15 on HAC. Liam becomes the third former member of One Direction to have a top 5 song on Pop. Can he make it to number one before Taylor gallops past? His fellow bandmate Niall Horan is also making a run for number one on Pop, but he gets his milestone this week on HAC where he moves into the top 4. “Slow Hands” is now top 5 on both Pop and HAC. The final One Direction member with a milestone this week is Harry Styles. His second single “Two Ghosts” goes top 40 on HAC.

Camila Cabello is from the US version of the X-Factor and her collaboration with Major Lazar, Travis Scott and Quavo goes top 30 on Pop. “Know no Better” is also on the Rhythmic chart. James Arthur, from the UK franchise, returns to the top 5 on AC with “Say You Won’t Let Go”.
