Three milestones this week – including two number ones.
Season 11 contestant Colton Dixon obtains his first number one on the CAC format. “Build a Boat” is a charity single that he released to support Mercy Ships which are floating hospitals to provide surgeries to people in underserved areas.
From Season 8, Danny Gokey also gets a milestone on CAC. “We all Need Jesus” is now in the top 15 of CAC. Danny collaborated with The Voice’s Koryn Hawthorne on this song, but Mediabase is not crediting her on their site for this song.
Finally, we have Morgan Wallen who retains the number one spot on Country radio for a second week. Morgan is also from The Voice and “You Proof” is from his upcoming album. His current album “Dangerous: The Double Album” remains at 4th on the BB200 with 45K in equivalent album sales (-2% from the previous week). “Harry’s House” from Harry Styles is 8th with 32K in equivalent album sales (down two spots and 5% in sales from the previous week).
