Five milestones to herald this week – four from this week and one from last week.
This week features two milestones on Country. Carrie Underwood’s collaboration with Jason Aldean has turned out to be a massive success. “If I Didn’t Love You” tops the Country chart this week and is a song off of Jason’s latest album.
Morgan Wallen continues to recover his careers his post-scandal single “Sand in My Boots” goes top 20 on Country. “Sand in My Boots” is from Wallen’s recent “Dangerous: The Double Album” that was released earlier this year. The album hasn’t left the top 10 on BB200 since it was released and is currently 7th with 42K in equivalent sales (-1% from last week).
Former Country number 1 “The Good Ones” from Gabby Barret debuts on the HAC chart this week. The song is also in the top 15 on AC.
Finally, we see Normani’s “Wild Side” featuring Cardi B debut on the UR&B chart. The song also achieved top 5 on Urban last week, but my Mediabase issues prevented us from seeing that.
