Morgan Wallen arrested for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct
Morgan Wallen is in trouble again. The country singer and former The Voice contestant is facing criminal charges after allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of a bar in downtown Nashville this weekend.
According to online records, reports TMZ, Wallen was arrested and booked Sunday night, April 7, on three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. He was later released from jail after posting $15,250 bond.
Per legal documents, obtained by TMZ, detailing the alleged incident, a chair came hurtling down 6 stories to the ground outside of Chiefs Bar Sunday evening. It landed just a few feet away from some Nashville PD officers who happened to be standing outside.
The officers investigated to see what had happened, and they say they were told Wallen was responsible. The police investigated surveillance footage and say they witnessed the singer throw the chair. Eyewitnesses claimed to police Wallen had laughed afterward.
Officers arrested Wallen, part of which was caught on camera. There is a shot of Walen sitting in the back of a cruiser apparently yelling.

Wallen’s attorney, Worrick Robinson released a statement: “At 10:53p Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities.”
Back in 2020 Wallen was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. And in 2021, after a video surfaced of the singer saying the n-word, Wallen was exiled from the music community for a year or so. But while radio didn’t play his music for awhile, and his record company suspended him, his songs kept selling and charting. After time passed, Wallen regained his career, seemingly stronger than ever. He had kept out of trouble…until now.
