Premiere dates for The Voice and The Sound of Music, starring Carrie Underwood were announced at today’s NBC Upfront presentation in New York City.
NBC boss, Robert Greenblatt announced that there will once again be two cycles of The Voice, this year, with the fall edition launching on September 23, the opening night of the season. The winter cycle will begin immediately following the Winter Olympics. Via Deadline.
The three-hour live staging of the The Sound Of Music, starring American Idol alum, Carrie Underwood as Maria, will premiere on Thursday, December 5. The project is executive produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, the folks who brought you Smash. Via Deadline
