Aw. Neil Patrick Harris, How I Met Your Mother star, Tony Awards host, and one time American Idol guest judge, married his long-time partner, David Burtka, over the weekend. Check out the performer’s sweet twitter announcement:

The couple, who have been together 10 years and have two children together, tied the knot on Saturday. “We happily confirm that Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka were married in Italy in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their close friends and family,” a rep for Neil confirms.
According to People magazine, the couple wore custom Tom Ford tuxedos. Close friend, Pam Fryman, the long-time director of How I Met Your Mother, officiated. The couple’s fraternal twins, Harper Grace and Gideon Scott, 3 1/2, also took part in the ceremony. Elton John was on hand for a special performance.
