Today’s thread is brought to you by the letters “F”, “A” and “N”.
To the surprise of nobody, Drake repeats at the top of the Hot 100 and the BB200. Once that guy grabs hold of the top of the chart, he is very difficult to shake lose. He either has a bazillion fans or his zillions of fans stream his music in their sleep. “In My Feelings” and “Scorpion” are his current number ones. He breaks another record this week with a combined 116.2M streams for “In My Feelings” (previously held by Bauer’s “Harlem Shakes” from 2013). Of the thirteen biggest streaming week, Drake has 10 of them (“Harlem Shake” has two of them and Taylor Swift one). You know his last cover where he was sitting on top of the CN Tower? He was really sitting on his pile of cash and they photoshopped in the CN Tower so it would be less showy.
Rap songs spend their 26th week on the top of the Hot 100 (half a year).

In other news, Billboard has started it’s annual Fan Army Face Off. They pit fan groups voting head-to-head against each other. Each round, half the fan groups are eliminated. There are a number of reality singing stars in the mix for round 1:
Normani: The Nation vs Selena Gomez: Selenators
Bruno Mars: Hooligans vs Liam Payne
Demo Lovato: Lovatics vs Adam Lambert: Glamberts
Harry Styles: Stylers vs Katy Perry: KatyCats
Niall Horan vs Calvin Harris
Camila: Camilizers vs Sam Smith: Little Sailors
Zayn: ZQUAD vs Halsey
Miley Cyrus: Smilers vs Louis Tomlinson
I think Liam, Niall and Louis need their fans to name themselves if they want to win this thing.
