American Idol season 10 alum, Paul McDonald and Twilight actress, Nikki Reed may be divorced, but it doesn’t mean they still can’t be friends!
Paul has moved back to Nashville since splitting with Nikki, but he’s returned to Los Angeles for some gigs–he performed at Bootsy Bellows on Friday night to celebrate his 30th birthday. Hours earlier, he and Nikki hit up the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson to perform “Honey” from their joint album, I’m Not Falling, released in July.
The tune has a sunny, folksy vibe and the duo sure looked happy singing it! It’s always nice when couples split and can remain friends.
In the meantime, Paul is about to embark on the recording of his first solo album, and he is funding it through…what else…a Kickstarter project! Crowdfunding has become the go to method for reality show alums, who have amassed a bit of recognition, to release music. Check out Paul’s Kickstarter campaign at this link.
