We’re still playing catch-up on the deluge of American Idol alum music released around the time of the series finale.

Season 10 singer, Pia Toscano has had a busy year singing backups for Jennifer Lopez in her Las Vegas residency, serving as the official National Anthem singer for the Los Angeles Kings hockey team, not to mention planning an impending marriage to fiance and Jlo choreographer, Jimmy R.O. Smith.

Also on her extremely full plate–releasing new music!  The singer released two new singles, “PyRo” and “You’ll Be King,” on the night of the American Idol finale, on which she appeared and performed.

In an interview with Billboard, Pia described the uptempo “PyRo” as “a sexy and electrifying record. It’s just so much fun for me to perform. It’s a little bit of a new sound for me and I love that people get to experience a different side of my voice and personality.”

“You’ll be King,” written after a breakup, is the kind of power ballad that put Pia on the map back when she competed on American Idol in 2011. She told Billboard, “It was a very therapeutic song writing process. It’s my most raw and vulnerable song that I’ve recorded in the last five years or so and I’m really proud of it.”

The singer recently performed “You’ll Be King” during an appearance on the Hallmark Channel Home & Family talk show.

Lastly, Pia collaborated with Ruben Den Boer and Victor Pool AKA Vicetone, on the dance track “Siren.” The song is from the EDM duo’s new EP Aurora.  Check the song out here.
