
Here is a roundup of ratings for American Idol and The Voice for Sunday April 11 and Monday April 12. And the news is…there really is no news. Both shows have remained relatively stable over the past few weeks. The following ratings are all final.
Sunday April 11: American Idol earned a 0.83 in the key 18-49 demo and 6 million overall viewers for ABC. That is fairly even with 0.85 and 5.6 million overall viewers from the week before. 60 minutes won the key demo and overall viewers for CBS with a 0.94 rating and 8.7 million overall viewers. It had an assist from the preceding Masters Golf Tournament.
Monday April 12: Unlike last week, American Idol and The Voice ratings ran neck and neck. American Idol’s Monday edition earned 0.77 in the key 18-49 demo and 5.4 million overall viewers. That’s up from the previous week, which earned a 0.65 in the demo and 4.7 million overall viewers. For NBC, The Voice’s demo was slightly lower, but had more viewers: 0.73 in the demo and 5.8 million overall viewers. The week before, The Voice earned a 0.83 in the demo and 6 million viewers.
