At a Rock The Caucus event at Valley High School in West Des Moines on Tuesday, Ron Paul not only bragged that Kelly Clarkson recently endorsed his campaign, that his “enthusiastic” supporters “bumped up her sales by 600 percent”
Uhm. No. The bump was more like 200 percent. And even that is exaggerated, because the figure was referring to her ranking on the Amazon Movers and Shakers chart, not her overall sales.
The actual sales bump will be revealed when the Nielsen Soundscan numbers come out tomorrow.
