County commissioners declared it “Sam Woolf Day” in the American Idol 13 alum’s Florida home town to welcome the young singer home and celebrate his accomplishments.
Sam stopped by the ABC 7 studios to chat and perform his original song titled “The Same.” He’s definitely got an Ed Sheeran vibe going there! Also, he sounds so much more confident when he performs in an intimate setting! It’s not the first time we’ve heard an original song from the singer. He performed an emotional song titled “I Try,” about his mother leaving him, during the American Idol Hollywood solo round.
Sam has had a busy week. He graduated from high school over the weekend.
