Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina surprised CMA Fest concert-goers Saturday night at LP Field in Nashville when they made surprise appearances on stage–Scotty to duet with Josh Turner and Lauren with Martina McBride.
When Scotty joined Josh during his set to sing “Your Man” the crowd reportedly went CRAZY. @GACTV tweeted, “Scotty McCreery came out to sing “Your Man” with Josh Turner and the crowd went haywire!” @cmilove, “… Crowd is going INSANE!!” @PaulShrug: “The press box at LP just erupted with squeals – grown women actually squealing – when Scotty McCreery joined Josh Turner onstage. Alarming.” @cmilove: “Flashes are going off like crazy in here. Fans love them some Scotty McCreery!… LP Field was louder than I’ve heard all week. @SMcCreeryAI10 held his own up there with Josh!”
And according to @cmilove, Lauren’s duet with Martina was intense, “Another surprise! Lauren Alaina joins Martina McBride to sing “Anyway”. Fans are loving it!…Lauren Alaina seemed to get a bit emotional up there. (How could you not?) I give that performance two thumbs up!!”
