Scotty McCreery teams up with groom to give his bride a special gift

The groom arranged Scotty to perform “This is It” for the couple’s rehearsal dinner.  The two had to make drastic changes to their wedding plans. The groom reached out to Scotty, hoping a performance would cheer up his bride. Right now, the two are on a honeymoon in the Smoky Mountains.

Scotty calls them an “amazing couple.” He’s touched that his song meant so much to them. Interestingly, the groom had tried out for American Idol a few times. He got compared to Scotty every time he auditioned.
