Scotty McCreery has been added to the list of performers for the American Country Awards airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday December 5 at 8p (ET) on FOX-TV.
It’s an upgrade for Scotty, who was originally scheduled to appear, along with Lauren Alaina. It looks like Season 6 Idol winner, Jordin Sparks will be making an appearance too.
Scotty, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson (with Jason Aldean) and Carrie Underwood are all nominated for awards. Voting for Artist of the Year Continues at www.theacas.com Until Friday, December 2
Country music group Alabama has been tapped to receive the “Greatest Hits Award”.
The second annual American Country Awards will be hosted by Trace Adkins and Kristin Cheonweth and will also include performances by Blake Shelton, Pistol Annies, Thompson Square, Eli Young Band and The Band Perry. Also set to appear are Josh Turner, The Big Show, The Janedear Girls, Bill Engvall, Larry Mahan, Rodney Carrington, Rachel Bilson, Miranda Lambert and the men of Pawn Stars.
