Auditions continue on Season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance after last week’s premiere ended with an emotional tribute to the late Stephen “tWitch” Boss.

Braylon Browner – 18 – Texas

Braylon is a Contemporary dancer. He’s adding what looks like some bits up pop and lock and ballet into this routine. Beautiful dancer.

Allison says he’s a gift and someone she wants to hire right now. Maks says he knew it’d be great. They all say yes.

Madison Rouge Alvarado – 21 – Illinois

Madison does a Jazz/Funk solo. I love a Funk element to Jazz! Looks like a routine I’d choreograph. She looked like she was on the verge of breakdancing at the end!

Comfort says you can tell by her dancing that she’s been through some stuff, and Madison reveals she was bulimic for 15 years. Maks says he’s in her corner. Comfort says yes, Makes says yes, Allison says yes.

Arianna Santos – 21 – New Jersey

She does Hip Hop with Flamenco fusion. She pulls out a fan to dance with halfway through and she’s killing these steps.

Maks said he had a great time watching. Allison says everything blended together and wishes it had more Flamenco. Comfort says her energy was high level. Allison says no and that it’s just a no for today.

Gideon Mekwunye – 27 – California

He’s a breakdancer.

Comfort says there were moments he almost fell out. Maks says they’re looking for someone who can step right into working and he’s not ready so today is a no.

Allison admits she’s questioning her decision with Arianna Santos and decides she wants to see her in the Choreography Round.

Allison finds Arianna and changes her answer to yes but she needs to bring the fire.

Kaylee Bays – 27 – California

Kaylee tells her story of going from a life long dancer to becoming disabled and performs a Jazz routine mostly in a wheelchair, referring to herself as “a dancer on wheels.”

Maks asked if her standing up at times is okay and she says her doctors predict she only has 5 more years of mobility left. “I’ll be dancing until I’m dancing with my eyes,” she says. Comfort compliments her moonwalk. They all say yes.

Olivia Zeiml – 19 – Illinois

Olivia does a Jazz solo, though it didn’t feel like Jazz to me. Wasn’t bad though.

Allison says the movements didn’t match the song. Comfort says they’re going to bring her back later once they’ve seen her two friends from the same dance team.

Avery Gay – 19 – Arizona

Avery does Pointe with Jazz and Contemporary elements. This routine fit the song choice much better. She made it precise but sexy.

Maks says he was excited during the first half but then hit a plateau. Allison compliments the fusion.

Madison Kotch – 19 – Texas

Madison does Contemporary. She’s incredibly flexible but it was a little boring.

Comfort says it seemed effortless. Maks says her eyes were disconnected.

When the three come back in, Makes says they’re all great but they’re looking for a professional dancer who can go to work.

Its a no for Olivia. It’s a no for Madison. It’s a yes for Avery.

Cole Neville – 22 – California

Cole performs in heels and gets a yes from Allison. Maks wants to see more but it’s also a yes.

Elina and Sebastian – 25 and 24 – Texas

These two dance Country which was really unique but definitely not what this show is looking for.

The judges agree it’s unique but it’s a no.

Jainil Mehta – 24 – India

Jainil celebrates his culture with this dance and it’s clear he could dance other styles.

Comfort says she loved his hand movements. They all say yes.

Kenidee Allen – 22 – Utah

Maks sits this one out because they’ve worked together before.

Kenidee does a sassy Jazz solo. Definitely sassy and flowy and flexible.

Maks says he’s proud but is going to be brutally honest, it wasn’t his favorite of hers. Comfort says it was just enough and a breath of fresh air. Allison says it was a classic Jazz routine. Allison says yes. Comfort says yes.
