Los Angeles based R&B musician and songwriter, Greg Scott, had songs featured on VH1 and the Netflix series YOU. He has also played with artists such as Tower Of Power, Lenny Williams, Narada Michael Walden and Ryan Tedder and OneRepublic.
Now, he comes to NBC’s Songland to pitch his tune “Miracle” to pop singer Bebe Rexha and the Songland panel Shane McAnally, Ester Dean and Ryan Tedder.
While Bebe calls the chorus “A+” Shane notes that the verse “didn’t feel current.” Bebe, “the melodies and everything, I would x that and start from scratch.” At which point, Greg looks rather…surprised while saying “awesome…OK…”

The panel wants to rebuild the song around what they describe as a “great hook,” a “great foundation,” Bebe calls it. She and the panel begin rewriting “Miracle” on the spot. She’s so excited, she turns the session into a dance party, jumping up to the front of the room after Scott leaves to improvise melodies and song lyrics.
