Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss Death Left Behind Unfinished Projects
Speculation that Stephen “Twitch” Boss took his own life last week over money problems can be dismissed. The beloved dancer, judge, and host had a slew of projects coming up with his wife, fellow dancer, Allison Holker.
Deadline reports that HGTV had big plans for the couple. The two were developing their own show called Living the Dream that would help first time buyers find a home. Additionally, the couple was scheduled to go into production on a limited series where the two would oversee the construction of full-sized Malibu Barbie Dream House.

Production initially looked for a house in Malibu, but the network settled on a place in Santa Clarita. tWitch and Allison were schedule to begin filming in January.
“We are taking the time to consider different scenarios,” an HGTV spokesperson told Deadline. “But for now, our primary focus remains on wishing our best to Allison and the entire Boss family during this difficult time.”
The couple tackled home renovation in the past. tWitch served as a guest judge on HGTV’s Design Star: Next Gen, which was hosted by Allison. The married couple also appeared on the channel’s House Party.
tWitch and Allison had more irons in the fire, including their own variety/talk show, as well as a new dance competition show and a game show. The pair were also working on a partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods in 2021 for a line of athletic and leisure wear.

Meanwhile, Allison returned to social media for the first time since her husband’s death. On Wednesday (Dec 21) she posted a photo of herself and tWitch captioned, “My ONE and ONLY Oh how my heart aches. We miss you so much.”

tWitch led a successful career
Up until his shocking death, the 40 year old led a successful career. The hip-hop dancer finished So You Think You Can Dance season 4 as runner-up in 2008. After that he spent several seasons as an all-star dancer–serving as a mentor and dance partner for current contestants. Ultimately, he sat on the judges panel of SYTYCD in 2022.
In 2013, he performed on Dancing with the Stars. In 2014 he joined the Ellen Degeneres Show as her DJ and eventually became an executive producer. He hosted the E Entertainment competition Clash of the Cover Bands in 2021. He also appeared in the movie Magic Mike XXL. In 2017, he and Allison Holker hosted the documentary series Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings.
