Survivor Season 47 Week 10 Recap and Live Blog

A new episode of Survivor 47 airs tonight on CBS. Read a live recap here.

The tribe returns to camp after tribal council. Teeny is devastated that Sol was voted out. Genevieve apologizes, but Teeny’s feelings are still hurt. She doesn’t like that Genevieve wanted to exclude her from the vote. Teeny doesn’t want to be treated like an idiot, and this is the second time Genevieve blindsided her (the first time was when Kishan was voted out). Teeny and Genevieve talk privately. Genevieve explains that she wanted Sol out for a long time. She claims Teeny was the reason she didn’t make the move against him earlier. In her confessional, Genevieve cries as she feels bad about hurting Teeny’s feelings. In her confessional, Teeny admits she’s playing the game with a lot of emotion. She doesn’t know how to pivot moving forward.

The next morning, Genevieve says she needs to be careful. Everyone knows she orchestrated the Sol vote. She hopes everyone will be looking to target the four remaining Tuku members instead. Meanwhile, Andy feels like he finally has options in the game. He individually talks game with multiple people, including Sam, Teeny, and Rachel. In his confessional, Andy calls himself the charming assassin who has built a web of different alliances.

It’s time for the reward challenge. They will be randomly divided into three teams of three. One at a time, they must slither through the sand to move a ball with their head. Once everyone reaches the end of the track, each player must roll a ball onto a target. The first three to finish will win a trip to the sanctuary and enjoy a nice lunch.

Yellow Team – Genevieve, Sue, and Teeny

Red Team – Andy, Caroline, and Gabe

Blue Team – Kyle, Rachel, and Sam

Kyle gets an early lead for the Blue team. He uses his shoulder to help maneuver the ball, and Rachel and Sam copy his lead. The Blue Team stays in the lead as Rachel is the first to land a ball for the Blue team. Kyle lands his ball just as the Red team gets started to roll their balls. But before they can roll a ball, Sam lands his ball on his first attempt. The Blue Team wins reward!

While on the reward, Kyle brings up maybe targeting Gabe. Even though Gabe is his fellow former Tuku member, he’s concerned Gabe will target him soon. Sam says he’s flexible, but he agrees people are sketched out about Tuku. Sam wonders what to do if Gabe wins immunity. Kyle pitches Genevieve. In her confessional, Rachel admits that Genevieve is her primary target. After Kyle walks away, Rachel and Sam talk. Sam says Rachel is the only person he owes any loyalty to. Sam wants to knock out a Tuku member before targeting Genevieve. In her confessional, Rachel says she’ll hear out any plans, but she’s not sure if she’ll go with his plan or not.

Back at camp, Andy and Sue talk game. Andy tells her he wants to work with her and be partners in this game. Andy knows Sue doesn’t like Kyle, and we next see a montage of Sue venting about Kyle and how mad she is that he voted for her before. Sue really wants to vote Kyle out of the game. Meanwhile, Gabe is contemplating targeting Kyle. Genevieve tells Gabe that Kyle will be the target if he doesn’t win immunity.

Sam returns to camp, and he talks with Teeny and Andy. Sam says they are the outsiders. Sam thinks they should target Gabe. Teeny says she will latch onto anything that is available, but she doesn’t want to be too trusting. Teeny is still really disappointed about Genevieve. She thinks the end of their alliance feels like a breakup. Regardless, she’s determined to find new life in the game.

It’s time for the immunity challenge. It’s an endurance challenge. They must balance balls on a disc while standing on a balance beam. The last person standing will win immunity. In addition, Jeff offers a rice negotiation. In order to receive the bag of rice, four people must sit out of the challenge. No one is willing to sit out. Caroline offers two Shot in the Dark advantages. Jeff says no. Kyle counters with all of the Shot in the Dark advantages. Jeff says he’s willing to make that deal. Everybody is willing to give away their Shot in the Dark advantages except for Sam. After seeing he is the only one hesitant and some pushing from Gabe, Sam finally agrees. Everybody except for Rachel hands over their Shot in the Dark advantages to Jeff. Rachel already played hers, so she doesn’t have one to give away.

The challenge begins. For the first round, they each must balance one ball on his or her disc. Despite some heavy wind, everyone makes it to the second round. They now must balance two balls. Caroline is the first to drop her balls. She’s followed by Andy and Rachel. Genevieve drops her balls next. Gabe drops his balls too. Only four people remain in the challenge, and they advance to the third round. They must now balance three balls. Teeny drops her balls. Sam drops his balls next. It’s now a showdown between Kyle and Sue. Sue drops her balls. Kyle wins immunity!

The tribe returns to camp. Sam, Teeny, and Andy talk about targeting Gabe tonight. Andy says they need to take out a Tuku tribe member, and Sam calls Gabe the leader of the Tuku alliance. However, Teeny wouldn’t mind voting out Genevieve tonight, but she doesn’t think the numbers are there tonight. Meanwhile, Gabe is pitching Genevieve as a target. He shares this plan with his fellow former Tuku tribe members. Gabe is confident his plan will be successful, and he’s baffled everyone will allow it. However, Caroline admits in her confessional she wants to blindside Gabe tonight. Caroline tells Andy and Teeny that she’s willing to vote for Gabe tonight. In her confessional, Caroline claims she’s still undecided. Caroline doesn’t want to harm her relationship with Sue. Sue is very close to Gabe, and she knows Sue wouldn’t be okay with voting out Gabe.

Rachel talks to Caroline. Rachel pitches targeting Genevieve before Gabe, and she shares this idea with Kyle. Kyle admits that Gabe is someone he could use as a shield, so he doesn’t mind keeping him around longer. Meanwhile, Genevieve is feeling worried. She knows she’s a target due to the Sol vote. Genevieve knows she and Gabe are on the chopping block. Teeny and Andy tell Genevieve it’s going to be Gabe voted out tonight, but she’s still worried. Kyle tells Gabe it’s either going to be him or Genevieve voted out tonight. Gabe talks to Genevieve, and he says they’re both viewed as the biggest threats. Genevieve tells him that no one is talking to her, but everyone wants to talk to him. In their confessionals, Genevieve and Gabe both believe the game will open up in their favor as long as they survive tonight’s vote.

It’s time for tribal council. Jeff asks what’s the criteria for being part of the community. Teeny says early in the game, it was just don’t be like Rome. She’s confused what the criteria is now. Sam says everyone’s criteria is different. Gabe says they need to put work building a community and then put more work into tearing it apart. Jeff says he’s surprised they gave up their Shot in the Dark advantages. Andy says it’s symbolic how they’re going to be playing the rest of the game. Sam admits he didn’t want to give up his Shot in the Dark. He says it wasn’t worth taking away rice from everyone else. Jeff asks what are they thinking regarding the vote. Gabe says people are thinking who they want to sit with at the end of the game. Sam says tonight’s vote will determine how the game moves forward. Rachel adds that people are voting out big threats. Andy agrees that everyone is hunting for threats. Caroline says there are different ways to views threats. Genevieve says people were talking to her less today than yesterday. She admits she misses her Shot in the Dark. Sam says today was the first time he felt like he was part of the community. Gabe says they can feel bad and then very good right afterwards and vice versa. Finally, it’s time for the vote.

We see Genevieve vote for Gabe and Gabe vote for Genevieve. But who will be voted out tonight?

Jeff reads the votes. The first vote is for…
