So You Think You Can Dance will begin taping episodes again beginning on June 10 which begs the question: When will live shows begin? Will there even BE live shows?
Who will determine the SYTYCD 2022 winner?
There were only 3 audition shows, all taped in Los Angeles. An episode devoted to choreography airs tonight (June 8). SYTYCD will unveil their Top 12 dancers on June 15. It appears that the network will tape at least some of the studio episodes in advance. Could the So You Think You Can Dance winner now be determined by the judges and studio audience a la The Masked Singer and NBC’s World of Dance? Home viewers chose SYTYCD’s previous 16 winners.
Also, with taping picking up again this weekend, FOX must be close to announcing who will take Matthew Morrison’s place on the judges panel. The network fired him after he messaged a female contestant and she reported him.

COVID-19 Protocols:
Because you are up front and close to all talent, everyone in your party must be fully vaccinated and “Up to Date”. To be eligible to attend on you must have had your second shot of Moderna or Pfizer or 1 shot of J&J no later than two weeks before the date on your ticket and be “up to date” on your booster if eligible. “Up to date” means that you have obtained all recommended vaccine and booster doses when eligible as recommended by the CDC (currently at least 5 months after the last dose of an individual’s primary vaccine series) An individual is “up to date” immediately after receiving their booster dose (i.e., there is no waiting period).
We will rapid test day of taping before we load the audience. All testing and show information will be on your ticket. Everyone in your party must get their own ticket.
