The leg begins in Santiago, Chile. Ricky & Cesar and Amber & Vinny are the first teams to depart. They read their clue and learn they must find Marilyn Monroe’s 1956 Ford Thunderbird to receive their next clue. Ricky & Cesar say they hope to stay in front of the pack.
Angie & Danny, Juan & Shane, and Rod & Leticia leave in the next group. June & Shane are glad this is a self-driving leg. They have a map, so they’re feeling confident. Angie & Danny are glad to be near the front, and Rod & Leticia just want to enjoy the day.
The remaining teams depart. They must make their way to find the Ford Thunderbird, which is located at Argomedo Performance Garage. Ricky & Cesar arrive there first. They get their next clue and learn they must proceed to Skatepark Parque Araucano. Before leaving, Danny helps Rod & Leticia with navigation. Angie would prefer if he kept that to himself. She points out how she’s at a disadvantage when it comes to physical tasks, so they need to keep any advantage they have to themselves.
We hear from more teams as they drive themselves to their next location. Yvonne & Melissa think they’ve been choosing the wrong Detours. Kishori & Karishma are struggling driving stick shift. Derek & Shelisa admit they bicker, but they say it’s them pushing and encouraging each other. Ricky & Cesar feel like they’re lost. Ricky is panicking, but Cesar says they’re fine. Amber feels like they’re going the wrong way. Vinny believes Amber is letting the pressure get to her and tells her to calm down. Amber says they need to figure out what they’re doing.
Angie & Danny are in first place. They learn they have a Roadblock to complete. Danny chooses to do it. He must assemble a skateboard that matches an example to get his next clue. Rod & Leticia and Juan & Shane are there too. They jump a fence to get ahead of Angie & Danny and reach the Roadblock location first. Ricky & Cesar arrive too. Cesar chooses to do the Roadblock.
Rod and Juan help each other out. Rod gets his board checked first, but he’s wrong. He also loses a nut, and he can’t find it on the ground. Shane gets his checked, but he doesn’t pass either. His wheels are the wrong color. Rod needs to find a nut.
Derek & Shelisa and Yvonne & Melissa are the next to find the Ford Thunderbird. They are followed by Kishori & Karishma. They can depart for the Roadblock. Sunny & Bizzy, however, are lost. Vinny gets started on the Roadblock.
Angie & Danny learn they have a Detour to complete: Perform for Pesos or Climb for Clues. The former requires teams to learn a routine while performing as a one-man street performer. Their teammate will play maracas. They must collect 2,500 pesos to earn their next clue. Climb for Clues requires teams to rock climb a six-story wall and collect ribbons at the top to get their next clue. Angie & Danny choose to Perform for Pesos.
Ricky is the next to finish the Roadblock. Shane finally figured out he needed to fix the colors on his skateboard. Rod also finds his missing nut. Shane and Rod complete the Roadblock and can get their next clue.
After Ricky & Cesar get started on their Detour, we see Vinny finishing the Roadblock. He and Amber choose to Climb for Clues. Meanwhile, the teams behind finally get started on the Roadblock. Melissa, Derek, and Karishma choose to assemble the skateboard. Meanwhile, Sunny & Bizzy are still lost and way behind the other teams.
Rod & Leticia also get lost driving to the Detour. They drive towards the mountains before realizing they need to stay in the city. They get out of the car and consult their map before driving back. Meanwhile, Juan & Shane are the first to reach the Climb for Clues Detour, but Amber & Vinny join them moments afterwards. Meanwhile, Ricky & Cesar are working on the Perform for Pesos Detour. Angie & Danny get lost driving and have yet to reach the Detour.
Ricky & Cesar earn 2,500 pesos. They can now proceed to the Pit Stop: Estación Mapocho. Juan & Shane complete their Detour too. They can proceed to the Pit Stop too. As Amber works on finishing the rock climbing task, she gets encouraging words from Vinny. Amber tells him to hush. Eventually, they complete the Detour too.
Angie & Danny finally get started on the Detour. As they get to work collecting pesos, Rod & Leticia arrive too. At first, Leticia approaches locals for money. Rod says she’s not being assertive enough, so they switch roles. Rod manages to get enough pesos to complete the task. They can proceed to the Pit Stop too. Angie & Danny also complete the Detour.
Ricky & Cesar and Juan & Shane are on the way to the Pit Stop at the same time. Juan & Shane feel like they are due for a first place finish, but Ricky & Cesar get there first. Ricky & Cesar are Team #1! They have won Expedia OneKeyCash for a trip to Singapore. Juan & Shane arrive shortly afterwards as Team #2.
Sunny & Bizzy finally arrive at the Roadblock. Bizzy chooses to do it, and she joins Melissa, Derek, and Karishma.
Melissa is the next to complete the Roadblock. After she and Yvonne depart for the Climb for Clues Detour, Amber & Vinny greet Phil as Team #3. Angie & Danny arrive later as Team #4.
Yvonne & Melissa get started on Climb for Clues as Rod & Leticia greet Phil as Team #5. Derek is the next to complete the Roadblock. He and Shelisa choose to Climb for Clues.
Bizzy gets her board checked. She’s right. She manages to pass Karishma. Sunny & Bizzy depart for the Climb for Clues Detour. Karishma has been struggling with the Roadblock, but she finally solves it. She and Kishori are in last place as they depart for the Climb for Clues Detour. Sunny & Bizzy manage to reach the Detour before Derek & Shelisa. They breeze through it and can depart for the Pit Stop.
Yvonne & Melissa greet Phil as Team #6 as Derek & Shelisa are working on the Climb For Clues Detour. They manage to complete it before Kishori & Karishma arrive. Kishori gets scared climbing up high, but Karishma encourages her to keep climbing. Sunny & Bizzy greet Phil as Team #7 as Kishori & Karishma complete the Detour.
Derek & Shelisa and Kishori & Karishma are the last two teams left. Derek & Shelisa seem to have gotten lost. Kishori & Karishma are more confident with their directions, but will it be enough for Kishori & Karishma to catch up?
Derek & Shelisa greet Phil as Team #8. Later, Kishori & Karishma greet Phil in last place. He gives them the bad news. Kishori & Karishma have been eliminated from the race. Karishma says they tried their best. Kishori says they’ve come so far, and she’s proud of them.
