Ash Minor, one of the original Four, wasn’t challenged to perform during the first week. But when Candice Boyd challenged the Australian singer, in the second week, he was eliminated.
Soul singer Candice Boyd was vanquished in Week 3 by current the Four contestant and young pop crooner Tim Johnson Jr.
Smooth R&B singer Saeed took out original Four member Blair Perkins in Week 1, and then was eliminated by gospel singer Jason Warrior in Week 3.
And finally, Zhavia, a fan and panelist favorite, took out original Four contestant, Elanese in Week 1. She seemed on track to make it to the end, until upstart Kendyle Paige ended her run in Week 4.
Of course, it seemed inevitable that Zhavia would return for a big rematch. Indeed, will the returning singers be challenging the contestants that took them out in the first place? Every returnee but Ash could face down the singer who ended their run.
The current Four are: Kendyle Paige, rapper Nick Harrison R&B singer Jason Warrior, and pop soul crooner Tim Johnson Jr.
Tune in to The Four on Thursday at 8pm on FOX to find out what happens. There are only two more episodes. The winner will be crowned on Thursday February 8.
UPDATE: In this video preview, Zhavia says straight up she’s coming after Kendyle.
