The Four fan favorite Zhavia returned to Thursday’s (July 26) Comeback episode to perform a cover of the Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back” along with season 1 winner Evvie McKinney and The Four artists.
But the singer also had a huge announcement. Her debut single “Candlelight” was about to be released to digital and streaming platforms. “Candlelight” is the first single from Zhavia’s upcoming debut album on Columbia records.
The song means a lot to her, Zhavia shared on her Youtube page:
“I’ve had this concept and some of the lyrics for a few years now and finally it has been put into an incredible song I got to write with one of my favorite artists Somo,” she says. “This song represents one of the hardest times I went through where I felt I had no hope and for the first time in my life I thought my dreams wouldn’t come true. Overtime I realized the one thing I did have control of at the time was the way I saw the world and the things around me. Learning to always be optimistic and always believing there is a way even when you don’t know how, led me to where I am now. Always be a dreamer!”
