The Kelly Clarkson Show finally announces a season 5 premiere date
While daytime talk shows like The Jennifer Hudson Show and The Drew Barrymore Show set premiere dates for the new season before the Writers Guild of America strike ended, only to pause production after backlash, The Kelly Clarkson Show wisely waited until the strike was over to return to television.
Now that the writers strike is over, The Kelly Clarkson Show has an official season 5 start date. The popular talk show, in it’s new New York City location, returns on Monday October 16. Check your local listings for time and channel details.
Kelly Clarkson Explains Why She’s Moving to NYC
Kelly has moved her show across the country, from Universal Studios in Los Angeles to the historic 30 Rock Studio 6A, the former home of Late Night featuring David Letterman, Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon.
According to NBCInsider, The new Kelly Clarkson show studio seats 200 people, seating more fans than her previous digs. But the space is still pretty cozy! (Sidenote: A lifetime ago, I attended a Late Night with Letterman taping in that very space).
