The Masked Singer 10 Preview: Who is Diver? Watch his performance and a clue
The Masked Singer season 10 premieres on Wednesday (September 27) featuring an all new season of crazy costumes.
Check out a preview of Diver covering Journey’s iconic “Anyway You Want It.” He’s no Steve Perry, but Diver delivers the song with energy and heart.
Diver will appear on The Masked Singer 10 premiere alongside Cow, Gazelle, Rubber Ducky and S’More. During The Masked Singer 10 preview which aired earlier this month, Diver dropped a clue. “Usually I’m pretty pumped,” he says, “But lately I’ve been lost in the abyss. I might be the most hated creature in the ocean right now.”
The Masked Singer 10 Preview: Who is Gazelle?
That clue has led many fans to guess Tom Sandoval is under the mask. Tom Sandoval is the Vanderpump Rules baddie who cheated on his girlfriend Ariana Madix. The controversy kept both stars and the Bravo reality show in the news all summer. Interestingly, Ariana is currently competing on Dancing with the Stars season 32. So maybe it’s him? He is also currently starring in the FOX reality show, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Two shows at one time on the same network? Why not!

Because Diver is a decent singer, he probably won’t be unmasked this week. Watch his performance below.
Format tweaks include the return of Wildcards and a scaled back save
Additionally, one Wild Card will be introduced to each group. The “Ding Dong Keep It On” Bell will return in the Battle Royale semi-final episodes, where the judges can choose to save JUST ONE contestant from elimination and move them directly to the finale. (Last season, the judges could save one contestant in each of the three rounds).
Here are your season 10 themes!
Themed episodes will include “Trolls Night,” ahead of the November release of DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls Band Together; a “Harry Potter Night” episode airing the week of Halloween; and an Elton John themed episode featuring songs from his extraordinary catalog. Rounding out the season will be themes such as “NFL Night,” “One Hit Wonders,” “Disco,” “2000s Night,” “I Wanna Rock,” and “Soundtrack of My Life.”
Nick Cannon will host while Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke round out the panel. All through the season, fan favorite celebrities from previous seasons will return to The Masked Singer stage with special performances. Former contestants will also lend their hit songs to the Battle Royale semi-final competition in each group.
Season 10 competition will start Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
