The Masked Singer 10: Who is Gazelle? Watch her cover Alanis Morissette’s “Uninvited”
After unmasking Anonymouse aka Demi Lovato in a pre-season special, The Masked Singer has dropped a new peek at Season 10.
Meet Gazelle. A recently released clip features the female celebrity performing “Uninvited” by Alanis Morissette and is undeniably a professional singer. Or at least she’s an actress who can also sing! Her style is very dramatic. Her big voice could be at home on the Broadway stage, which is why several people in the comments underneath the video are SURE that Gazelle is Wicked actress and Frozen singer, Idina Menzel.
The Masked Singer 10: Special EARLY Premiere and Format Details
A couple of fans think it’s Carrie Underwood. But American Idol and country music fans KNOW that voice is not Carrie’s. Plus, after 17 years as a superstar singer, would Carrie comeback to compete on another singing show? Why would she! The Masked Singer producers were genius to invite a big name singer to wear a costume, but only for one night! Demi Lovato got to have some fun on stage, but without regressing to competing with other singers for a prize.

Gazelle’s regal costume includes a set of majestic horns on her head festooned with flowers, as is the regal cape wrapped around her shoulders. Her green eyes are set off by long eyelashes. She wears an ermine collar fit for a queen.
The Masked Singer is celebrating 10 seasons on FOX and as they usually do, the producers have mixed up the format.
The season 10 competition will officially begin in the previously announced premiere airing on Wednesday, Sept. 27. The competition will include an all-new format with three groups of singers, which will feature special Battle Royale semi-final episodes for EACH group. Season 10 will feature 16 total masked contestants, which will include Donut, Anteater, Hawk, Hibiscus, and S’More.
Format tweaks include the return of Wildcards and a scaled back save
Additionally, one Wild Card will be introduced to each group. The “Ding Dong Keep It On” Bell will return in the Battle Royale semi-final episodes, where the judges can choose to save JUST ONE contestant from elimination and move them directly to the finale. (Last season, the judges could save one contestant in each of the three rounds).
Here are your season 10 themes!
Themed episodes will include “Trolls Night,” ahead of the November release of DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls Band Together; a “Harry Potter Night” episode airing the week of Halloween; and an Elton John themed episode featuring songs from his extraordinary catalog. Rounding out the season will be themes such as “NFL Night,” “One Hit Wonders,” “Disco,” “2000s Night,” “I Wanna Rock,” and “Soundtrack of My Life.”
Nick Cannon will host while Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke rounds out the panel. All through the season, fan favorite celebrities from previous seasons will return to The Masked Singer stage with special performances. Former contestants will also lend their hit songs to the Battle Royale semi-final competition in each group.
Rita Ora will sit in for Nicole Scherzinger on season 11
The Masked Singer has also released a new promo, which looks back at the Demi Lovato reveal and ahead to the new season. It also previews the spring cycle, season 11. As Nicole Scherzinger takes a break to star on the West End in London, Rita Ora from the UK version of the show will take her place. Season 11 is filming now.
