The Voice 10 Battle Rounds begin Monday March 14 in the second hour of the telecast (the first hour will be devoted to finishing the last five blind auditions.) The spoilery Battle previews are up, which offer glimpses into what we can expect as far as pairing and song choices. The clips also offer a peak into the Battle rehearsal process.
This season’s superstar advisers include pop singer Tori Kelly with Adam Levine, rap mogul P. Diddy with Pharrell Williams, R&B legend, Patti Labelle for Christina Aguilera and lending a hand to Blake Shelton is Gwen Stefani, a sometime The Voice coach and Blake’s current gal pal. She has also had a long and varied music career.

Adam Levine and Tori Kelly
Tori explains she’s been a The Voice fan since day one and is so excited for a competition reality show that focuses on a person’s vocal ability. Singing Tori Kelly’s own “Hollow” are Natalie Yacovazzi and Nate Butler. Natalie had trouble connecting to the song, until Tori explained the meaning to her. Also paired together are rootsy artists Laith Al-Saadi and Matt Tedder performing Honky Tonk Woman by the Rolling Stones.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani
Blake describes Gwen as a “Rock n Roll goddess diva…living legend!” He brought Gwen in because of her The Voice experience, but also to help out with his non-country artists. He’s all “OH MY GOD I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO HELP” with Gwen, which is funny as he constantly tries to convince pop artists to join his team. Country singers Mary Sarah and Justin Whisnant are paired together, but we don’t hear them sing. Paxton Ingram and Brittney Lawrence perform “I Know What You Did Last Summer” by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello while Brittany Kennell and Trey O’Dell sing “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac.

Christina Aguilera and Patti Labelle
Christina is so honored to have been able to get legendary vocalist Patti Labelle to help out with her team. Tamar Davis and Shalyah Fearing sing Lady Marmalade which Patti turned into a hit back in the 70’s and Christina later covered. At one point ALL FOUR ladies give the song a go! There were real tears when Tamar realized who she’d be working with. Also battling it out on stage are Bryan Bautista and Malik Heard singing “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown. Patti is impressed! And, it’s Alisan Porter vs Lacy Mandigo performing the 60’s classic “California Dreamin” by Mamas and the Papas.

Pharrell Williams and Sean “Diddy” Combs
“You built an empire that runs the world!” says Pharrell. Mr. Rules the Universe humbly answers, “I’m here to help out in any way I can brother…” Brian Nhira and Abby Celso team up to sing “Sugar” by Maroon 5 and Diddy cuts them no slack. Jessica Crosbie and Nick Hagelin receive finger-snapping lessons from the man as they prepare to do battle with “Electric Feel” by MGMT. Also, there’s only a snip of the song Emily Keener and Jonathan Bach sing, but I’m pretty sure it’s Ellie Goulding’s “Explosion.” Hannah Houston and Maya Smith face off with “Elastic Heart” by Sia. Diddy is a tough coach. This one is going to be awesome.
