In the third week of iTunes voting, the contestants finally begin kicking some ass on iTunes. FIVE singers entered the Top 10, entitling them to have their iTunes votes multiplied by 5. American Idol alum Sundance Head hit No. 1 with his gospel barn-burner “Me and Jesus.” Brendan Fletcher is right behind him at No 2. Ali Caldwell made the Top 20, but did not enter the Top 10. The remaining four contestants didn’t come close. The bottom 3 singers will likely come out of the bottom 4 iTunes charters.

Prediction: Famous last words, considering I completely missed the boat last week. But, I think this week’s prediction is easy. Aaron Gibson and Courtney Harrell will leave the competition this week. Aaron will make his third appearance in the bottom. While he possibly could have beat Courtney in a twitter save, with two going home this week, he’s come to the end of the road. In other words, Aaron will lose against anyone else he has to compete against. Either Aaron Allsup or Josh Gallagher will be in trouble this week. Josh’s performances aren’t resonating with viewers and Aaron’s song choice was off his brand enough to be confusing.
