Now, a little promo for the online series, The Comeback Stage. Single mom Ayanna Joni and Lynnea Moore, whose mom is in prison, will compete for the last spot in the Top 13. Oh. They are going to sing now.
Ayanna Joni – No Tears Left to Cry – Oh. She’s doing something different with her hair. And she’s rapping. The results are mixed here. She’s not playing it safe, that’s for sure. Just like her blind audition–she’s nervous. Pitch problems plague this performance. Jennifer thinks she has the showmanship needed to be a star.

Lynnea Moore – Boo’d Up – She’s nervous too. But out of the two performances, I’d pick Lynnea. Damn, though. One of these gals will make it to the lives AND pick the team to compete on. Considering tonight’s cuts, it seems a little unfair. Kelly was excited that she made the Top 2. Kelly was sorry that she didn’t turn for her.

Sad goodbyes: Michael Lee, Funsho, Kameron Marlowe, Franc West, Zaxai. A bunch of my favs are no more. Sniff. I would have prefered Michael instead of Chris Croeze, and Kameron instead of FREAKING Tyke James. The others were edged out legitimately (quiet voice I would have preferred Franc or Colton over whitney impersonator MaKenzie Thoms sorry/notsorry). The Playoff round ALWAYS results in tough losses.
Additionally, although Comeback Stage winner Lynnea Moore has potential, outside of fans who followed the Comeback Stage series online, she’s an unknown. Unless she KILLS IT next week, Lynnea will be an early casualty.
