The Voice went live last night (4/15) with a brand new twist–the Live Cross Battles. Only 43% voted in favor of the new rounds in our polls. 57% of the respondents were either negative, or simply didn’t care one way or the other. The show got a bump in the ratings this week, but it was only 1/10th of a point.

Your favorite performance was Maelynn Jarmon’s “Mad World by a whopping 40%. Presley Tennant and Dexter Roberts were a distant 2nd and 3rd at 14% and 12% respectively.
The polls here are a good indicator of who will win the battles, I believe:
I prefered Betsey, but Kim’s performance was a crowd pleaser. And she’s gotten way more promotion from the show (Her Blind Auditions rap stunt was released as a video preview).
