The Voice 17 Top 13 performed songs this week dedicated to the important people/things in their lives. Maybe the sentimental theme is why the singers made such predictable song choices? More than that, it was a set of some of the most overplayed songs on singing shows. I hope, down the line, the singers are willing to take a few risks and surprise us. While the performances were solid last night, nothing really wowed me, either.
