It’s the first live show of the season tonight (May 4), and the artists from Teams Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas are ready for the Live Top 17 Performances on The Voice, airing on NBC at 8 pm ET/PT.
Tonight’s episode won’t really be LIVE live. The coronavirus pandemic shut down Hollywood production. Now, TV competitions are carrying on with at-home episodes featuring judges, coaches, mentors, hosts and artists doing their thing mostly from the comfort of their own homes.

How Will The Voice 18 Broadcast Live Shows Remotely? All The Details!
Host Carson Daly will introduce performances from the empty The Voice soundstage, in front of the big red chairs. Blake, Kelly, John and Nick will mentor their teams remotely, before the singers perform from their living rooms, bedrooms and porches. The Voice will reveal results on Tuesday at 8 pm ET/PT.
In the live results show, four artists, one from each team, will be revealed as safe by America’s votes. Each coach then selects an additional artist to move forward. The Artist with the next highest overnight votes from each team will compete in the Wildcard Instant Save for the last spot in the Top 9.
The Voice aired a clip show last Monday. But here’s one more refresher of the Top 20, including the four artists vying for the 17 spot. The winner of the 4-way knockout will be revealed tonight.
