The Voice 18 Knockouts Part 2 Pairing Spoilers

The Voice season 18 Knockout Round concludes on Monday April 20. In this round, coaches once again pair up teammates. But this time, each artist performs a solo song they choose, while their competitor watches. After, the coach picks which singer will move on to the live shows. Each coach gets one steal, NO saves. Additionally, this week features the FOUR WAY SAVE, outcome to be determined by fan vote!

Legendary singer/songwriter James Taylor will be on hand to help coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas get their teams ready to face off.

Check out songs and match up spoilers for Monday’s (April 20) episode below.

Team John Legend

Both singers are four chair turns. Thunderstorm boldly chooses one of John’s songs even though his coach would rather artists not pick his songs to sing. Mandi chose a song that many artists have covered, including mentor, James Taylor.

Mandi Castillo – Stand by Me by Ben E. King
Thunderstorm Artis – Preach by John Legend

Team Nick Jonas

Nick stole Jon. Taylor comperes the singer’s voice to his big personality. Nick believes Arei made the perfect song choice.

Jon Mullins – Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran
Arei Moon – You Don’t Know My Name by Alicia Keys

We previewed this Knockout HERE. James feels Jacob took “Better Now” to a new place. “I dug his interpretation,” Taylor says. Meanwhile Nick believes Allegra gave Sia’s “massive hit” a new twist.

Allegra Miles – Chandelier by Sia
Jacob Miller – Better Now by Post Malone

Team Kelly Clarkson

Kelly paired up Taylor and Micah because they both have huge vocal ranges. Micah impresses Taylor. “He’s present,” Taylor says. Kelly believes the performance is the best Taylor has sounded on the show.

Tayler Green – Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper
Micah Iverson – Graveyard by Halsey

“Mandi can sing anything,” says Kelly, of the artist who auditioned with an opera song. Taylor notes Mandi’s “effortless quality.” He’s impressed by Anaya’s song choice. Kelly loves Anaya’s confidence.

Mandi Thomas – My Church by Maren Morris
Anaya Cheyenne – Praying by Kesha

Team Blake Shelton

BOTH singers choose a Rihanna song. “Toneisha may have as good a voice as I’ve heard so far in this group of singers,” says Taylor. Blake stole Cedrice from Team Legend.

Toneisha Harris – Diamonds by Rihanna
Cedrice – Love on the Brain by Rihanna

Four Way Knockout!

Each team saved a contestant in the Battles to face off in a four way Knockout. Voice fans vote for the winner. Samantha Howell from Team Kelly, Michael Williams from Team Nick, Nelson Cade III from Team Legend and Todd Michael Hall from Team Blake will face off. We’ll have to wait until Monday for song choices!
