The Voice 21: Watch BrittanyBree vs Samara Brown Spectacular Battle!

BritneeBree Samara Brown The Voice 21 Battle

The Voice season 21 Battle Rounds continue tonight (Oct 12) with more unforgettable duets. From Team John Legend, BrittanyBree and Samara Brown perform a slinky and soulful version of Aretha Franklin’s “Something He Can Feel.”

Samara, by the way is sister to The Voice season 3 singer, Amanda Brown.

After the performance, Kelly Clarkson noted that “Something He Can Feel” is one of her favorite songs, not just to listen to, but also sing. “Your voices are insane,” she gushed. She compared Brittany’s voice to that of rock/soul icon, Tina Turner. “I loved every minute you had your mouth open.” Samara also impressed her, and called it a “tug-of-war” deciding who to tell John to pick. Either way, “one of you is going to be available to steal,” she teased.

Blake Shelton, blown away, called the moment a time where “people can either buckle under the pressure or they step up and become a star.” He added, “You both just really owned the moment and the stage.”

“I have been obsessed with you both since the Blinds,” declared Ariana Grande. “You’re both so spectacular, and your tones are so different. Yet, they compliment each other so beautifully.” Ariana doesn’t believe that “anyone outsang the other.”

John has a hard decision to make. Both singers not only complimented each other, but shined in their own right. He is impressed that Samara took his notes, observing that her performance was “exactly the way it needed to be.” Meanwhile, John loves the “stank” BrittanyBree has on her voice. “That hits me right in my heart,” he said. John is all the more impressed, because The Voice is Brittany’s first foray into secular music.

“I love both of you so much,” said John. So who will he pick for his team? Does it matter? Obviously, Ariana and Kelly plan to steal the loser! The Voice airs on NBC at 8 pm.
