With Camila coaching on the show for the first time, much of the discussion is about how she’s faring on the panel (Awesome, of course, what else would her bfellow coaches say? In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE, the Familia artist, 25, said that she “didn’t prepare” herself for what to expect with her fellow coach, Blake Shelton — who is known on the reality competition series for his friendly banter with the other stars. “I didn’t prepare myself at all,” Cabello tells PEOPLE. “I didn’t really know what to expect, but I feel like that’s better for my brain because I already have been prone to overthink in my life.” “You’ll see a lot of that literally on the show because there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes cameras where we’re hanging out and talking,” she says. “They’re always giving me advice, and then regretting it because I really run with it.” – Read more at People

The Voice reached out, and it’s so fulfilling and full-circle for me to be coaching people because I started on a singing competition show. And I just love that it’s a very equal-opportunity show, you know? You don’t have to have money, you don’t have to have any connections in the music industry. If you have a lot of talent, things are possible for you. And I think that’s really cool. I kind of know what it’s like to be in that setting, which is different than, I think, just a normal — not normal, because none of it is normal — but different than, for example, what my career has been like for the past eight, nine years. ‘The Voice’ Coaches Say Blake Shelton Is Going to Lose in Season 22 (Exclusive)
But while Blake may be focused on his high school antics, John Legend is kicking himself for telling Camila that she would make a good Voice coach when she was Team Legend’s season 21 celeb mentor. “I told her that, and who knew I was charting my demise?” he said with a laugh. “She’s such a great coach and she’s going to be quite a formidable foe for us all season.” John admitted that “everybody’s got really good team members” in season 22, making for some “tough” competition.
