The Voice 24 Top 12 Power List ranked! Plus, your poll results

The Voice season 24 LIVE shows begin this week with the Top 12. That means it’s time to RANK the remaining 12 artists vying for the win. Also, check out your poll results.

The Voice 24 Polls: Vote for your FAV Top 12 Artist!

Finally, the coaches have no say in who stays and goes in the competition. The Top 12 will perform on Monday (Dec 4) and after an overnight vote, viewers will vote through their favorite contestants into the Top 9. Out of the Top 9 will emerge the Final Five set to compete in the December 18 and 19 finale.

The Voice 24: Chance the Rapper Returns to Mentor the Top 12

Now that the finalists have been revealed, it’s time to rank the artists. Team Niall Horan is the strongest team, while Team Reba McEntire is the weakest. However, Reba has a very strong contender in 16 year old country singer, Ruby Leigh. Reba could win it all this season!

Nevertheless, the entire Top 12 is full of talented singers. The female bench in particular, is terrific and outnumber the males 8 to 4! But that does not mean a male can’t win season 24.

The Voice airs on NBC Monday at 8 pm ET/PT and Tuesday at 9 pm ET/PT

12. BIAS – Team Gwen

The Voice 24 Playoffs - BIAS

Gwen has had a soft spot for BIAS ever since he performed her husband, Blake Shelton’s “Gods Country” in the Blind Auditions. BIAS is a quirky oddball, but doesn’t seem to have connected with Voice fans so far. He delivered a strong and emotional Playoffs performance of Larry Fleet’s “Where I Find God.” But BIAS is up against some strong country competition this season!

11. Jordan Rainer – Team Reba

The Voice 24 Playoffs - Jordan Rainer

Jordan is a country singer with a powerful presence. She’s also witty and clever and could have a career as a host or actress. Reba likely sees herself in her fellow Oklahoman. In her long career, Reba has conquered the worlds of music and TV. But Jordan, who mostly hides behind dark sunglasses, has yet to break out in a big way.

10. Jacquie Roar – Team Reba

The Voice 24 Playoffs - Jacquie Roar

Jacquie started the season performing country songs such as Gretchen Wilson’s “Here for the Party” and Maren Morris’ “GIRL.” But she had a breakthrough of sorts with a ferocious performance of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” in the Playoffs. In another season, Jacquie might have been a contender. But in this stacked season, she’ll have to fight for a spot in the Top 9.

9. Lila Forde – Team Legend

Some fans are going to feel that Lila deserves to be ranked lower. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong. But while Lila’s phrasing and tone are exquisite and she’s a talented musician, she doesn’t fully emotionally connect to the sensitive singer songwriter covers she has performed on The Voice. Smiling and shrugging her way through a performance of James Taylor’s “Fire and Rain” seemed like a very odd choice.

8. AZÁN – Team Legend

The Voice 24 - AZAN
Pictured: Azán — (Photo by: Tyler Golden/NBC)

AZÁN is the only artist chosen as a “super-save” after being eliminated to advance to the live shows. She has a special talent. Over the course of the season she covered Jill Scott, Miguel and Anita Baker. Her style is R&B with jazz and pop influences. Which is why it was perplexing that she was eliminated at the Knockouts. Shuffling an artist from team to team hurts them, usually. At this point, AZÁN has to knock it out of the park to become a front-runner.

7. Tanner Massey – Team Gwen

The Voice 24 Playoffs - Tanner Massey

Arguably, Tanner is the weakest technical vocalist left in the competition. But he is cute and so so EARNEST. He’s not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve in a performance. He reminds me a lot of country heartthrob Brayden Lape whose emotional performances took him all the way to 5th place on season 22, despite his youth and inexperience. I’m ranking him out of the Top 5 here, but a higher finish for Tanner would not be shocking, despite the strong competition.

6. Kara Tenae – Team Gwen

The Voice 32 - Kara Tenae
Pictured: Kara Tenae — (Photo by: Tyler Golden/NBC)

Kara is an exquisite R&B singer who brings 90s and 00s vibes to her performances. She could have oversung a song like JoJo’s “Leave (Get Out),” but instead, every ad lib and run she delivered with intention and perfect intonation. She’s a complete package and deserves to go far. However, she’s such an understated and tasteful singer, her talent might get lost among bigger voiced artists.

5. Nini Iris – Team Niall

The Voice 24 - Nini Iris

Nini knows how to deliver a showstopping performance, from her Blind Audition performance of “I See Red” to her dark pop cover of Radiohead’s “Karma Police” her big range and charisma has made her a The Voice fan favorite. She has finale potential.

4. Mac Royals – Team Legend

The Voice 24 - Mac Royals

Mac stunned the judges with his soulful performance of D’Angelo’s “Untitled (How Does it Feel)” Like Kara Tenae, he doesn’t sing a wrong note and takes the stage with confidence. He’s a strong contender on Team Legend.

3. Mara Justine – Team Niall

The Voice 24 - Mara Justine

Only in her early twenties, Mara is a singing show veteran having already competed on America’s Got Talent and American Idol. The result is that she’s a young singer who knows how to compete. She wowed the coaches with a dramatic version of “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” in the Blinds and cemented her place in the finals with Florence + the Machine’s “You’ve Got The Love.” In the latter, she worked the stage like a champ. She brought fans into the competition and likely has more now.

2. Ruby Leigh – Team Reba

The Voice 24 Playoffs - Ruby Leigh

Ruby, only 16 years old, is like the second coming of LeAnn Rimes, who also began her country music singing career as a young teen. (Ruby covered “Blue” in the Knockouts). Like LeAnn, Ruby brings a maturity and polish to her performance that belies her young age. She’s also a throw back to old school country, complete with expert yodeling. She’s Reba’s ace and could win it all. Her cover of a Linda Ronstadt deep cut “Long Long Time” in the Playoffs showed her ability to deliver a tender lyric.

1. Huntley – Team Niall

The Voice 24 Playoffs - Huntley Team Niall Horan
Pictured: Huntley — (Photo by: Casey Durkin/NBC)

Huntley is the type of singing show contestant that does well. He’s a male rock singer throwback who can sing just about anything. He takes the stage with power and charisma and makes it look effortless. He dedicated his Playoffs performance, a cover of David Kushner’s viral hit “Daylight” to his young daughter. Being a doting dad doesn’t hurt! His Blind audition cover of Black Crowe’s “She Talks to Angels” got all four coaches’ chairs to turn.

POLL Results

Ruby and Huntley are your No 1 and No 2 favorite contestants respectively. Right now, Huntey has the edge over Ruby in my rankings. But that could change!

Favorite Top 12 contestant

12. BIAS 0.53% 11. Jordan Rainer 0.79% 10. AZÁN 1.32% 9. Jacquie Roar 2.37% 8. Kara Tenae 2.90% 7. Tanner Massey 5.80% 6. Mac Royals 6.33% 5. Lila Forde 7.12% 4. Nini Iris 8.44% 3. Mara Justine 9.76% 2. Huntley 26.12% 1. Ruby Leigh 28.50%

Favorite Team After the Playoffs

Niall Horan and Reba McEntire are the No. 1 and No 2 favorite teams respectively. While Reba has a very strong contender, Ruby Leigh, on her team. However, overall Niall has the strongest team. All three of his artists will probably make it into the Top 9 and he’ll probably end up with two in the finale.

4. Gwen Stefani – 4.05% 3. John Legend 9.31% 2. Reba McEntire – 29.155 1. Niall Horan 57.49%
