The Voice 25 Playoffs: Meghan Trainor and Anthony Ramos will serve as advisors for Chance the Rapper and Reba McEntire
The Voice 25 two part pre-taped Playoffs round concludes on Monday April 29 with Teams Chance The Rapper and Reba McEntire. On Thursday (April 25) NBC announced the special Playoff advisors for both coaches.
Hot off of mentoring American Idol contestants, Meghan Trainor will help Chance The Rapper get his team ready for the round. Additionally, Broadway actor and singer Anthony Ramos will assist Reba McEntire with her team. Anthony starred in Hamilton on Broadway. He also appeared in the the screen adaption of the Broadway musical, In the Heights.
We previewed the Playoffs last week HERE. Two artists, Nadège and L. Rodgers earned Playoff Passes from their respective coaches, Chance The Rapper and Reba McEntire during the Battles. The pass allowed the singers to skip the Knockouts. Finally, they rejoin their fellow contestants to compete for a spot in the live shows.

Team John Legend, Team Dan + Shay set their teams last week
Meanwhile, Team John Legend and Team Dan + Shay eliminated two contestants from each of their five member teams after their artists performed on last week’s episode (Monday April 22). Rapper Saweetie served as an adviser for Dan + Shay, while Latin artist Maluma helped John Legend.
Team Dan + Shay
Dan + Shay chose pop country singer, Tae Lewis, Playoffs Pass holder Madison Curbelo and veteran Nashville singer Karen Waldrup. They eliminated Olivia Rubini and Anya True.
Team John Legend
John Legend chose Christian rocker and Playoffs Pass holder Bryan Olesen, R&B singer Nathan Chester and pop singer Zoe Levert. He eliminated Hawaiian crooner Kamalei Kawa’a and singer songwriter Anya True.
