Welcome back to night two of The Voice Season 25 premiere! Tonight’s second episode of Blind Adutions will kick off by learning which team girl group OK 3 chooses after they received a four-chair turn at the end of last night’s premiere.

OK 3 chooses… Team Legend!

Nathan Chester – Take Me to the River by Al Green

Nathan has some cool growl in his voice. John is the first to turn his chair, then Dan and Shay. I already see the Legend vibes from Nathan.

Chance says he has a vision of Nathan on John’s team. Reba says she’s kicking herself for not turning. John says he’s picky but he turned quickly because he thinks Nathan’s got it. Dan and Shay he’ll get two for the price of one if he joins his team. Nathan chooses Team Legend.

Maddi Jane – 24 – Escapism by 070 Shake and Raye

Maddi is a cool mix of vocals and rap, but it takes the coaches a bit to turn. John, Chance and Reba all turn at once, and Dan and Shay follow.

John says it was fun to listen to and then fun to watch once he turned around. Dan and Shay say she worked the stage and the crowd. All Chance says is to come get on Team Chance, but then continues by critiquing her breath control and calls her a star. Reba says she was surprised by her singing voice after hearing her rap. Maddi chooses Team Chance.

Devon Sutterfield – 29 – Cry to Me by Solomon Burke

Devon is groovy with his acoustic guitar and soulful voice! He’s also got some growl. Unfortunately no one turns their chairs.

Reba says she would’ve liked more emotion. Dan and Shay say the song was difficult but liked his growl. John suggests doing something more mellow if he comes back.

Donny Van Slee – 30 – Greatest Love Story by LANCO

Donny has a smooth, classic country voice! Can already see him on Reba’s or Dan and Shay’s team, who are the only coaches to turn. But Reba blocks Dan and Shay.

Dan and Shay if anyone’s going to block them, it should be Queen Reba. John says he loves his raspy tone. Dan and Shay say that tone is an important piece of country music. Chance offers a hug when Donny says he’s a huge fan. Reba says she loved his voice and raspiness and her first thought was to block Dan and Shay. Donny joins Team Reba.

Karen Waldrup – 36 – Bye-Bye by Jo Dee Messina

Another country artist. Karen makes Dan and Shay immediately turn with her twang. Reba turns in the middle of the song, but learns she’s been blocked by Dan and Shay as payback.

Shay immediately welcomes Karen to their team. Reba says she did a wonderful job. John says she was fantastic but it wasn’t his cup of tea. Chance says she’s better off working with Dan and Shay or Reba. Dan and Shay say she’s a pro and she’s got what it takes to do well on the show. Karen joins Team Dan and Shay.

Aeden Alvarez – 21 – Snooze by SZA

Aeden is good but doesn’t quite sound ready for this. No one turns.

Dan and Shay say they love the outfit. Reba said stylistically it wasn’t what she does. Chance says his tone is cool and full but some notes got lost.

Aeden made a vest for whatever coach he ended up with, and decided to offer it to his fellow Chicago guy Chance.

Gabriel Goes – 21 – What I Got by Sublime

Gabriel is from Hawaii and you can hear that influence in his voice and performance. Chance is the only one to turn.

John says he loves his energy, but his concern was not hearing enough range. Dan and Shay say they love his spirit and he’s the happiest man they’ve ever met. Reba says she loves his enthusiasm and she didn’t turn because his style isn’t something she could help him with. Chance says he reminds him of Jason Mraz. Gabriel joins Team Chance.

Gene Taylor – 33 – Lights by Journey

Gene has a big, gorgeous voice that makes all the coaches turn their chairs and give him a standing O.

John reminds Gene he was the first to turn for him. Dan and Shay say they can tell he’s a seasoned pro. Chance says he was last to turn because he was so invested in the performance and you can hear a lot of blends in his voice. Reba says his voice is beautiful and he was working the crowd. Gene chooses Team Legend.

Next Monday continues the Blind Auditions at 8pm EST!
