Another Monday, another night of competition shows, and it starts with the third round of Blind Auditions on The Voice!

Last week’s two-night Season 25 premiere left each coach – Reba McIntire, Dan and Shay, Chance the Rapper and John Legend – with a couple of notable singers and groups on their respective teams, while both Reba and Dan and Shay already used their blocks on each other, and Chance used his block on Reba.

Bryan Olesen – 49 – Love Runs Out

Bryan’s smooth falsetto has everyone but Chance turning by the second line of the song. Bryan continues with some grit and growl in his voice, but it’s not enough to get Chance to turn. – Check out his full audition HERE. The singer is the former guitarist of the popular Christian rock band, Newsboys.

Chance calls it an awesome vocal performance and he’s excited to watch the others fight it out. Reba says she turned because it was a performance she could feel without seeing anything. John asks Bryan if he understands what he just did, and calls it the best audition they’ve seen. Dan and Shay say they thought someone famous was performing.

Bryan informs them his daughter sings too and they convince her to sing as well (she is good!).

Bryan chooses Team Legend.

Frank Garcia – 19 – Love In The Dark

What a deep, controlled, beautiful voice! Dan and Shay are quick to turn, and are the only ones to turn (HOW?).

Chance compliments Frank’s control and says he’s blown away by Frank’s speaking voice. Dan and Shay say they were blown away and knew they were turning as soon as Frank started singing. Reba says Frank will have a blast with Dan and Shay. Frank joins Team Dan and Shay.

Kamalei Kawa’a – 26 – Redemption Song

Kamalei gets Chance to turn from the first note as he strums his guitar and unveils his Hawaiian accent in his own rendition of the song. Reba turns just before the song ends.

Dan and Shay say they were blown away by his voice. Chance says he loves the way he represents his culture, and hearing this song brought something out in him. Reba says the song touched her heart and says his performance felt spiritual to her. John says they’re all moved. Kamalei chooses Team Chance.

Ten – 37 – Hit Em Up Style

She’s got a cool name, a cool style and a cool voice! She doesn’t sound quite seasoned enough for this competition, and no one turns.

Chance says she had a cool, jazzy take on the song but he’s excited to see where she goes. Reba says she wishes she turned around. John says she was behind the song at times.

Ashley Bryant – 26 – Last Name

A typical country starlet here. Her outfit feels really 90s to me, like a country Britney. No one turns until the very end of the song when Reba hits her button.

Reba said she did a great job with Carrie Underwood’s song. Ashley reveals she suffers hearing loss and John assures her the sky’s the limit. Dan and Shay agree Queen Reba is the perfect match for Ashley. Chance says she should be happy and excited. Ashley joins Team Reba.

Asher HaVon – 31 – Set Fire To The Rain

Asher has a big voice perfect for this song. Everyone turns but John.

Reba says she couldn’t wait to turn around to see what he looks like. John says he was intrigued. Dan and Shay compliment his low register and high notes. Chance says he can tell Asher is trying to win and everything he did was phenomenal. Asher chooses Team Reba.

Mecca Notes – 33 – Master Blaster

Mecca Notes starts out slow and then starts a Jamaican jam. He’s got John Legend vibes, yet no one turns their chairs.

Dan and Shay say they’re blown away by the power of his voice. John calls his voice electric but says he had control issues.

Jackie Romeo – 20 – Flowers

A very specific voice. John turns almost instantly. She impresses everyone at the end that makes Dan and Shay turn.

Dan and Shay say they love her control despite being able to tell she was nervous. Reba says it was wonderful and she should’ve turned. John says this song felt like it was just her. Jackie chooses Team Legend.

Rivers Grayson – Babylon

Rivers has a simple, sensual voice paired with his guitar. Only John turns.

John says the performance was subtle and had beauty. Rivers joins Team Legend.

Corey Curtis – 22 – Waiting On The World To Change

Corey has such a great, unique voice and a fun take on this classic. Chance turns almost immediately. That soft and smooth final note too! Woo!

Chance welcomes him to his team and says he wants to see him enunciate more. Reba says she knew she had no chance once Chance turned. John says his tone is interesting and has a character they haven’t heard. Dan and Shay say they’re excited to watch him develop as an artist. Corey joins Team Chance.

Summer Brooke – 30 – Hold On To Me

Beautiful country voice on a beautiful ballad. This girl looks and sounds like an angel on stage. I don’t know how none of the coaches turned their chairs for her, absolutely nuts.

Shay says his heart hurts that they didn’t hit the button. Reba says she hopes she had a great experience. John says it felt pitchy despite being a beautiful performance.

Madison Curbelo – 21 – Stand By Me

Madison has a cool, funky take on this legendary song, and John turns immediately. Dan and Shay are next to turn as she demonstrates her range. Chance turns, and Reba turns just before it ends.

Reba says she did a great job on the song. John starts already planning her album title, then admits he was one of the coaches who didn’t turn for her when she auditioned in Season 20. Dan and Shay say she radiates light and joy and her voice was flawless. Chance says she’s an awesome talent and has a cool energy. Madison chooses Team Dan and Shay.
