The Voice 26 Top 5 sang for your votes on last night’s performance finale. And on tonight’s grand finale, The Voice crowns a winner.

The Voice 26 Top 5 Finale Predictions and Poll Results – Who Will WIN?

Guest performers for tonight:

The Voice 26 Finale Features Kelly Clarkson, Huntley and more

The Top 8 sing “Defying Gravity” from the musical Wicked

The show begins with the Top 8 artists singing “Defying Gravity” from the musical Wicked, which is out in theaters now, doncha know, starring former The Voice coach, Ariana Grande. It’s rousing! Jan Dan, Adam Bohanan and Christina Eagle join the Top 5 on stage.

Be prepared for a bunch of time wasting videos including one that features the Top 5 chatting with their coaches about the holidays. It’s very sentimental as the singers share about the sad parts of their lives. They light Christmas candles as they yack.

Dan + Shay perform their new Christmas song “Officially Christmas”

Now, former The Voice coaches, Dan + Shay sing a track from their new Christmas album. The “LIVE” disappeared from the screen, so this performance was taped earlier. Also, the lack of coaches grooving along is always a big giveaway. IT’S OFFICIALLY CHRISTMASSSSS.

Sydney Sterlace and coach Gwen Stefani sing “Wild World” by Cat Stevens (Yusaf Islam)

A video package featuring Sydney Sterlace and her coach Gwen Stefani chat before their live performance. Gwen urges the singer to write songs. Also, Gwen seems a little sad that she never had a daughter of her own (3 sons). The two sing “Wild World” by Cat Stevens (now known as Yusuf Islam). Hm, this rendition is so…bouncy. It lacks the sadness of the original, where the protagonist is heartbroken sending off a loved one into a precarious world.

Myles Smith sings his hit viral song “Stargazing”

Now Myles Smith, sings “Stargazing” his huge viral hit. The singer, from the UK, kicked off his music career posting cover songs on Tik Tok. Eventually, he posted original songs and signed with Sony Records.

Jeremy Beloate and coach Snoop Dogg sing “Sittin on the Dock of the Bay” by Otis Redding

Next, Jeremy Beloate and his coach Snoop Dogg share about their unlikely partnership. Jeremy lost 20 pounds before the lives. Also he grew a moustache (no like). Snoop shares about his own losses. His brother died recently. They duet on “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay” by Otis Redding. Snoop admits he’s not much of a singer. Yes. That was odd.

Next, Season 24 winner from Team Niall Horan, Huntley performs his new original song “Skyline Drive.” It hearkens back to the 70s southern rock sound. Very Allman Brothers. It’s also got a bit of a Bruce Springsteen vibe with the funky sax solo. The song is an ode to his home state, Virginia.

It’s another time wasting video featuring Reba McEntire attempting to make over Michael Buble as a cowboy…for some reason.

Riley Greene and Ella Langley perform their duet “you look like you love me.” The song was released on June 21, 2024, ahead of Ella’s debut studio album Hungover. The song hit country radio on August 5, 2024. It’s currently a big hit.

Shye and coach Michael Buble sing “Something Stupid” by Frank Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra

Next Shye and her coach, Michael Buble chat about whether the young singer is “shy” or not. They also chat about her family. The two sing “Something Stupid” by Frank Sinatra and his daughter Nancy Sinatra. That was back in the day when a father/daughter could sing a love song and folks didn’t find it creepy (it sort of was!). Interestingly, Shye and Michael’s voices don’t blend well together. At one point, Shye giggles at a mistake. Good thing the voting is over.

Snoop Dogg and Sting join forces on “Another Part of Me”

Now, the pairing you never expected, Snoop Dogg and Playoffs mentor Sting collaborate on a new song “Another Part of Me.” The song samples The Police classic “Message in a Bottle.” The song is from Snoop’s latest album Missionary out on Friday. The song is surprisingly OK. Afterward Snoop says, “I’ve been stung by Sting,” Sting follows up with “I’ve been Snooped by the Dogg.”

Danny Joseph and coach Reba McEntire sing “You Don’t Know Me” by Ray Charles

Next Danny Joseph and his coach Reba McEntire chat about their families and the singer’s guitar playing before they join forces on “You Don’t Know Me” by Ray Charles. Michael Buble also covered it. This is from Ray’s country album. Probably the only country album in my parent’s collection. Heh. It’s the best coach duet so far. Danny is underrated on this show. He’s terrific.

Kelly Clarkson performs new Christmas song “You for Christmas”

Next, OG American Idol winner, former The Voice coach and talk show host, Kelly Clarkson, sings her new Christmas song “You for Christmas.” She finishes with spectacular high notes. She released a deluxe version of her Christmas album.

Sofronio Vasquez and his coach Michael Buble sing “Who’s Loving You” by The Miracles

The last coaches duet is next. Sofronio Vasquez and Michael Buble chat about hockey and their mutual admiration. They perform “Who’s Loving You” by The Miracles and later, The Jackson 5. Sofronio is looking sharp in a black suit and skinny tie. Nice duds for when he’s crowned the winner later. This duet is also pretty solid. Vocally, Sofronio is dragging Michael around. He’s good.

Iconic 80s duo, Tears for Fears are here to sing their massive and well loved hit “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” along with their new song. “The Girl That I Call Home.” The new song is decent! Great chorus. Often oldbies return, and have lost the juice. What’s with that creepy eyeball in the background? They recently put out a new live album, Songs for a Nervous Planet.

Another time wasting video features Dateline’s weirdo host, Keith Morrison. Somebody stole Snoop’s candy. He’s sure one of the other coaches is the culprit. Oh boy. OK this “reenactment” got me chuckling. I’ll bet that “candy” Snoop keeps next to his chair is “special.”

Now, the season 25 winner, Asher Havon from Team Reba McEntire performs his new single “Thank You” for the very first time. It’s an emotional gospel song, backed by a choir. Reba joins him on stage for a huge hug. “You mean everything to me,” he tells her. He wrote the song for her. She’s crying. “I can’t talk right now.”

FINALLY IT’S TIME FOR RESULTS.

RESULTS and The Voice 26 winner is…

Of course, must squeeze in some dumb questions first. The contestants share thoughts with their coaches.

Carson reveals the artist in fifth place, and it is…Jeremy Beloate! The finalist in 4th place is….Danny Joseph from Team Reba. After a break, Carson reveals the remaining results. But first, the coaches share words of comfort with their artists. Michael promises to help Shye in her career. He doesn’t promise the same thing to Sofronio. Cause he’s probably gonna win. The finalist in third place is…Sydney Sterlace! Team Buble wins in any case. And the winner of The Voice is…Sofronio Vasquez! Shye finishes second.

Voters in our poll correctly predicted the winner and the order the entire Top 5 finished in. I mixed up Danny and Jeremy, but otherwise got the order correct including the winner and runner up.

5. Jeremy Beloate – Team Snoop
4. Danny Joseph – Team Reba
3. Sydney Sterlace – Team Gwen
2. Shye – Team Buble (Runner up)
1. Sofronio Vasquez – Team Buble (WINNER)
