The Voice 27: Ari Camille vs Bryson Battle. Who will land on Team John Legend?

The Battles continue on The Voice 27 airing Monday (March 17). In a new preview, watch Ari Camille fight Bryson Battle for a spot on Team John Legend.

The two singers performed the sweet and romantic Made for Me by Muni Long. Bryson opened the song with warm notes. Camille joined him seamlessly on the chorus. The two harmonized beautifully, ending the song in a crescendo of big dramatic notes. This battle will be a hard decision for John. Will another coach use their steal?

Adam Levine mentioned that he wanted Bryson “so desperately” on his team during the Blinds. “You can’t sing better than that.” He continued by praising Ari. “Your character and who you were as a vocalist was just as present as Bryson.” But, because of the “enormity of what Bryson can do” Adam would “probably lean that way.”

“You guys both have these big, bold voices that you demand attention,” said Kelsea Ballerini. “But you didn’t try to out-sing each other. You held space for each other.” She remindinded the duo that part of of being a solo artist is “finding those collaborations and making those musical moments.” She was impressed with the singers both separately and together.

“Ari I turned my seat for you,” Michael Bublé said. “It’s just a joy to watch you. There’s a lot of light that pours out of you. And I love listening to you. You were flawless.” Bryson reminded Michael “…so much of me…that was a joke!” He continued after the panel mocked him for a bit, “I wouldn’t pick either one of you over the other. I think you’re both geniuses.”

“Both of you are just immensely talented and have such a bright future”

John loved that the coaches were realizing how good the singers were. “What we’ve seen in you all along,” he said. The coach sees so much “star potential” and charisma in Ari. “I think the future is so bright for you.”

“Everybody’s jaw is on the floor seeing the things that you can do with your voice,” John said of Bryson’s vocal. “The beginning of the performance required such finesse, and you did that with such skill.” He added, “Both of you are just immensely talented and have such a bright future.”

Who will John choose for his team? And will the loser be stolen? Tune into The Voice on NBC at 8 pm ET/PT Monday, March 17 and streaming on Peacock.
