30. Amber Carrington – I Remember You
33. Amber Carrington – Crazy
42. Sasha Allen – Ain’t Know Way
44. The Swon Brothers – Okie From Muskogee
65. Holly Tucker – My Wish
110. Holly Tucker – When God Fearin’ Women Get the Blues
Michelle Chamuel earns the 10x vote bonus after entering the Top 10! Whoo hoo! The Taylor Swift song pick + appearance = GOLD. Great teamwork, Michelle and Usher! Danielle Bradbery just missed the Top 10, but she’s a winner too, with one song in the Top 20. Holly Tucker is at the bottom of the chart, failing to make the Top 50. This is not good news for her. Look at “Wagon Wheel” and “Before He Cheats” charting right after Michelle and Danielle. The Swons and Sasha Allen did well picking popular country songs. Sasha’s pimp spot didn’t hurt.
Poll Results
Your favorite performance was Michelle Chamuel’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” with 32% of the vote. Shasha Allen’s “Ain’t No Way” came in second with 15% of the vote. That’s quite a departure from the iTunes rankings. But y’all have good taste! Heh. Michelle’s “Somewhere Only We Know” is next with 11% of the vote and Sasha’s “Before He Cheats” is right behind–pretty much a tie, with nearly 11%. On our poll, Danielle doesn’t show up until 5th place, where “A Little Bit Stronger” garnered 9% of the vote. Holly Tucker is dead last with less the 1% of the vote for each of her performances. OUCH.

Your favorite contestant was Michelle Chamuel with an overwhelming 46% of the vote! Here is how the rest shook out: 2nd – Danielle Bradbery 16.21%, 3rd – Sasha Allen – 15%, 4th – Amber Carrington – 14.7%, 5th – The Swon Brothers – 5% and LAST – Holly Tucker – 2%.
Who SHOULD go home and who WILL go home: In Both Polls, you chose Holly Tucker with 56% and 74% of the vote, respectively. The Swon Brothers are next with 25% and 12.3% of the vote respectively. Y’all are pretty convinced that Holly will go home. And there are more of you who believe the Swons SHOULD go home than believe they actually WILL.
Predictions:
It’s super easy this week. I agree with you all. Holly Tucker is heading home. She had two unremarkable performances plus she sang early in the lineup. She was outshone by everyone, save the Swons. But as I mentioned in the recap, as the only males left in the competition, they don’t have to try very hard. They’d be more likely to outlast a talented singer like Amber Carrington, at this point.
