The Voice 9 Top 12 will be revealed on tonight’s LIVE results show, and we are live blogging. Two contestants advance from each team–Team Adam Levine, Team Blake Shelton, Team Gwen Stefani and Team Pharrell Williams–via America’s vote. Each coach chooses a contestant from their teams to round out the Top 12.

Additionally, Sawyer Fredericks, the reigning The Voice winner, returns to debut his new single, “Take it All” from his new self-titled 4 song EP.

And, First Lady Michelle Obama appears in a special taped Veterans Day message. Blake Shelton points to his flag pin as he’s introduced.

Host Carson Daly explains how the 24 will be cut in half OUCH before Team Gwen takes the stage with a performance of “Ooo Child.” Somebody still has to teach Braiden how to hold a microphone! Everybody seems a little under rehearsed. Korin’s adlibs are sweet. Too bad she’s probably leaving the competition tonight. Gwen’s team is pretty soulful bunch, but those vocals were shaky.

After the break, we will find out the first 3 artists moving to the Top 12!  Before Team Gwen’s Top 12 is revealed, a recap of Monday’s performances. Deep breath kids. It’s time. And America saved…Jeffery Austin! America also saved…Braiden Sunshine. And Gwen saves… Gwen babbles on and on until she reveals…she saves Korin Bukowski! Whoa. Thought for sure Ellie Lawrence would make it through. Ellie out-sang and out sold Korin pretty handily on Monday. That’s gotta sting. And, goodbye to my favorite eye candy, Viktor Kiraly. Sigh. Gwen’s going to have to work extra hard with Korin, or she’ll be out in a week.

A group of veterans are sitting in the audience. Carson introduces them ahead of a clip featuring Michelle Obama promoting JoiningForces.gov. She cracks a joke about Adam’s hair. Or lack thereof. Hee.

Pharrell introduces his guy, The Voice 8 winner, Sawyer Fredericks. He’s here to sing his new single, “Take it All.” This boy has adult alternative radio written all over him. If Republic Records puts effort into his career, Sawyer could carve out a nice little alt folk career for himself. The self-titled EP was released today, and it’s already hit the Top 10 on iTunes!

Next, Sawyer stars in a Nissan Altima commercial. Drivers Ed with Blake. Cute.

Next up is Team Blake with a performance of Rascal Flatts’ “Stand.” They pretty much outsing Team Gwen, to be honest. Nadjah sounds really really good. Unfortunate that her song choice this week was so ill advised. Carson pimps the “suggest a song” feature on the smartphone app. Maybe YOUR suggestion will be performed on this season of The Voice.

Before we get down to business with Team Blake, let’s watch a recap from last night. Blake thinks Emily Ann deserves to go deep in the competition! Sigh. Morgan Frazier is  a superior singer and performer. Oh well. Even the coaches prefer the newbies. It’s often “I’m picking the contestant I can help the most.”  So much for second chances (Meghan Linsey notwithstanding)

Here we go with Team Blake! America saved…Barrett Baber! America also saved. Zach Seabaugh!!!! WHAT THE HELL! All those downloads plus the multiplier, and Emily Ann didn’t get the votes. WOW. Blake gives a little pep talk to the remaining contestants. He’s choosing based on who he thinks can “thrive” on The Voice. And Blake saves Emily Ann Roberts.

SO. Now that we’ve pulled ourselves back together. Team Pharrell is next. The group performed an affecting version of “Everybody Hurts” by REM. Team Pharrell is so good. SO SO GOOD. It’s going to be tough to lose half of them.

Time for heartbreak, Team Pharrell style. America also saved Madi Davis! America also saved…Evan McKeel! HOORAY. Hm. He should probably save Darius. Riley looks so sad. I wish America had appreciated her talent. Pharrell gives each remaining singer a little pep talk. But in the end, he saves…Mark Hood. I’m OK with that. Mark will probably do better with the voting public than Darius would have. His esoteric vibe doesn’t fully translate on a competition show stage. Pharrell and all that fake hemming and hawwing…as if he didn’t know who he’d advance. Heh.

Last but not least, it’s Team Adam hitting the stage with “Diamonds” by Johnnyswim. Everybody from Team Adam delivering solid performances tonight. The rock guys, Blaine Mitchell and Keith Semple are particular standouts. Will The Voice Top 12 contain NO rock singers? Hard to believe Adam will let that happen. Well, Evan is half a rock singer, right?

After a recap of Monday’s performances, Carson gets down to work. Only a few minutes left. Hurry! And America saved…Jordan Smith! Of course. America also saved…Shelby Brown! So much country in this Top 12. Adam saves…Amy Vachal. Kinda surprised Amy didn’t have America’s vote. If she had, Adam would have probably saved one of the rock dudes. He would have certainly saved a rock singer instead of Shelby. There are 4 country singers in this Top 12. Overload.
